On the 28th November 2018, Ms. Chavali Pamela Osathanugrah, President of PPSEAWA Thailand and Chairperson of UN Committee, alongside Ms. Punchalee Phenjati, Chairperson of Activities Committee acting on behalf of the Chairperson of Advancing the Status of Women Committee, launched a Breast Cancer Awareness Event at Donmuang Emergency Home (part of the Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Soamsawali). The aim of this event was to raise awareness and practice of breast cancer self-examination and prevention among victims of physical and emotional abuse.
Assoc. Prof. Kris Chatamra kindly sent a professional senior nurse, Ms. Kanokporn Nakarat to conduct an insightful presentation on breast cancer at the event in meeting room #302 of the Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Soamsawali.
