On 7 December 2018, Ms. Chavali Pamela Osathanugrah, President of PPSEAWA Thailand and Chairperson of UN Committee, Ms. Amarawan Panpinij, Chairperson of Peace Project, along with Ms. Ratipan Panpinij, Peace Project Vice Chair re launched the PPSEAWA Thailand for Peace Project Campaign Activities to commemorate the momentous UN World Peace Day (21st September) with representatives from 5 schools at Nayomwittayakarn School, Amnat Charoen province for a total of 152 students (ranging from grades 4-6).

With the aim of promoting peace across all differences and contributing to building a culture of peace, this year the Peace Project hosted a Talent Show at the school. This campaign aims to encourage the young / new generation to contribute to building world peace by being respectful towards each other, and towards refugees and migrants; as well as helping prevent abuse and war.Students were given the opportunity to use their creativity to express their definition of “peace” through their performances, showcasing their talent across singing, dancing and performing arts. Scholarships were awarded to the winners.

นางชวาลี โอสถานุเคราะห์ นายกสมาคมและประธานฝ่ายกรรมการสหประชาชาติ นางอัมราวัลย์ พันธ์พินิจ ประธานโครงการ และนางสาวรติพันธ์ พันธ์พินิจ รองประธาน จัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในวันสันติภาพโลก 21 กันยายน เพื่อปลูกฝังให้เยาวชนเข้าใจในการสร้างมิตรไมตรีต่อกัน การให้เกียรติต่อทุกคน ต่อผู้ลี้ภัยและผู้อพยพ เพื่อให้ทุกคนตระหนักถึงความสำคัญและงดใช้ความรุนแรง หยุดทำสงคราม และร่วมมือกันสร้างสันติภาพให้เกิดขึ้นทั่วโลก ให้กับนักเรียนระดับนประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4- 6 จาก 5 โรงเรียน จำนวน 152 คนได้แก่ โรงเรียนนาเยีย โรงเรียนนายม โรงเรียนบ้านนาดอกไม้ โรงเรียนหนองแห่เนินสมบูรณ์ และโรงเรียนคำสร้างบ่อโดยได้รับความอนุเคราะห์สถานที่จากผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนนายมวิทยาคาร จังหวัดอำนาจเจริญโดยจะจัดกิจกรรมในรูปแบบการจัดประกวด Talent Show เป็นการเปิดเวทีให้กับเด็กๆ ทุกคนที่มีความคิดสร้างสรรได้มาแสดงความสามารถ เพื่อชิงทุนการศึกษาภายใต้โจทย์ “สันติภาพในรูปแบบของคุณคืออะไร”
