Peace Project Committee

Mrs. Chavali Pamela Osathanugrah, President of PPSEAWA Thailand, assigned Ms. Ratipan Panpinij, Chairperson of the Peace Committee, together with Ms. Pakchanan Ruengprasertvit Chairperson of the UN Committee, to organize the “Peace Begins at School Project”. The initiative aimed to promote peace within schools and address the growing concern of bullying. The program was conducted for 235 middle school students at Jirasart Witthaya School in Ayutthaya Province.

During the event, Mrs. Chavali Pamela Osathanugrah shared findings from the 2025 survey on bullying among Thai children and youth. The survey revealed that 65% of children and youth aged 6–25 have experienced bullying. Alarmingly, more than one in four reported having thoughts of self-harm. Most victims (73.53%) were bullied by their peers, and the school was the most common location for bullying (83.35%). These experiences have significant psychological effects, often causing feelings of shame and distress.

นางชวาลี โอสถานุเคราะห์ นายกสมาคม สปอท. มอบหมายให้ นางสาวรติพันธ์ พันธ์พินิจ ประธานฝ่ายสันติภาพ ร่วมกับ นางสาวภัคชนัญ เริงประเสริฐวิทย์ ประธานฝ่ายกรรมการสมาคมประจำองค์การสหประชาชาติ จัดทำโครงการ “Peace Begins at School” โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อมุ่งเน้นการสร้างสันติภาพให้เกิดขึ้นในโรงเรียน ซึ่งขณะนี้จะค่อนข้างเป็นปัญหาโดยเฉพาะการบูลลี่ (Bully) กำลังเป็นประเด็นสำคัญที่สังคมไม่ควรมองข้าม ให้กับนักเรียนมัธยมต้น โรงเรียนจิระศาสตร์วิทยา จำนวน 235 คน ณ ห้องประชุม โรงเรียนจิระศาสตร์วิทยา จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา

ในการนี้ นางชวาลี โอสถานุเคราะห์ นายกสมาคม สปอท. ได้ผลสำรวจพฤติกรรมการถูกกันแกล้งรังแกในกลุ่มเด็กและเยาวชนไทยปี 2568 พบเด็กและเยาวชน ช่วงอายุ 6-5 ปี มีประสบการณ์ถูกกลั่นแกล้งรังแกสูงถึงร้อยละ 65 ที่น่ากังวล คือ มากกว่า 1 ใน 4 มีความคิดทำร้ายตัวเอง โดยส่วนใหญ่ถูกกลั่นแกล้งโดยเพื่อน ร้อยละ 73.53 และสถานที่ที่มักเกิดการกลั่นแกล้งมากที่สุด คือ โรงเรียนร้อยละ 83.35 ซึ่งส่งผล ให้ผู้ถูกกลั่นแกล้งได้รับผลกระทบทางจิตใจและรู้สึกอับอาย เป็นต้น
