UN Committee

Mrs. Chavali Pamela Osathanugrah, President and UN Committee Chair of PPSEAWA Thailand, and Zonta International Committee Member, along with the PPSEAWA Thailand Committee joined hands with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development and other leading organizations in a 2024 campaign to stop violence against women, girls, and family members.

Under the theme ACT Now to End Violence Against Women and Girls, the campaign was inaugurated by H.E. Minister Varawut Silpa-archa, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security who chaired the opening ceremony. The key message from Mrs.Chavali was: “To end violence against children and women, to end violence within families …. This initiative can begin with YOU.”

Participants also enjoyed a mini-concert by the band Getsunova. The event was held at the Siam Square One Amphitheater, Bangkok.

ภายใต้แนวคิด “สร้างสุขปลอดภัยไร้ความรุนแรง” (ACT Now to end Violence against Women and Girls) โดยมี นายวราวุธ ศิลปอาชา รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ เป็นประธานเปิดงาน

ในการนี้ ได้ร่วมแสดงเจตนารมณ์รณรงค์ยุติความรุนแรงต่อเด็กสตรี และบุคคลในครอบครัว ดังนี้

“หยุด...ความรุนแรงต่อเด็ก สตรี และความรุนแรงในครอบครัว โดยเริ่มได้ที่ตัวคุณ” พร้อมชมมินิคอนเสิร์ต วง Getsunova ณ ลานอัฒจันทร์ ชั้น LG สยามสแควร์วัน (SQ-1) กรุงเทพฯ
