Women Development Committee

The Pan Pacific and South East Asia Women's Association (PPSEAWA Thailand), Thai Catholic Women Association and Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) visited Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Prison to survey areas that will be used for the SME Change Life Project’s vocational and technical training. Through this vocational training, female prisoners can envision life outside of the prison, motivating them to focus on rehabilitation and reintegration. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the training under SME Change Life Project has been paused. Nonetheless, this visit includes a meeting with the Superintendent to discuss the re-launch of the vocational and technical training.

สมาคมสตรีภาคพื้นแปซิฟิกฯ ร่วมกับสมาคมสตรีไทยคาทอลิก และสถาบันเพื่อการยุติธรรม (TIJ) ได้เข้าไปสำรวจพื้นที่การจะลงไปอบรมวิชาชีพในเรือนจำจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาในโครงการ “SME เปลี่ยนชีวิต” ให้กับผู้ต้องขังแดนหญิง ซึ่งได้หยุดการอบรมไปนานเนื่องจากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 นอกจากนี้ยังได้พบท่านผู้บัญชาการเรือนจำเพื่อปรึกษาหารือและรับคำแนะนำในการเปิดโครงการฯ อีกครั้ง
