UN Committee

Mrs. Chavali Pamela Osathanugrah, Member of Zonta International UN Committee, and President of PPSEAWA Thailand in collaboration with King Prajadhipok’s Institute, Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Zonta International UN Committee, Zonta Bangkok 6, Gender and Development Research Institute (GDRI)

and Association for the Promotion of the Status of Women (APSW) organized the International Women’s Day 2023 Seminar under the theme: “International Women’s Day 2023: Embrace Equity.” The seminar featured two panel discussions:

1. Gender Equity: International Good Practices

2. Enhancing Gender Equity: Experiences from Thailand.

At the event, the participating organizations jointly announced a Declaration of Collaboration for Promoting Gender Equality through a Network Partnership. The seminar concluded with a joint declaration by the participating organizations to strengthen collaborative networks in promoting gender equality. The event was held at the Phuwanat Prachathipok Conference Hall, King Prajadhipok’s Institute, with simultaneous live streaming via Zoom and Facebook Live.

นางชวาลี โอสถานุเคราะห์ กรรมการ Zonta International UN Committee และนายกสมาคมสตรีภาคพื้นแปซิฟิกฯ ได้เข้าร่วมกับสถาบันพระปกเกล้า, กรมกิจการสตรีและสถาบันครอบครัว กระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์, Zonta International UN Committee, สโมสรซอนต้ากรุงเทพ 6, สถาบันวิจัยบทบาทหญิงชายและการพัฒนา และสมาคมส่งเสริมสถานภาพสตรีฯ จัดการสัมมนาวาระวันสตรีสากล ในหัวข้อ “International Women’s Day 2023 : Embrace Equity” โดยจัดให้มีการอภิปราย 2 หัวข้อ ได้แก่

1. หัวข้อ Gender Equity: International Good Practices

2. หัวข้อ การส่งเสริมความเสมอภาคระหว่างเพศ บทเรียนจากองค์กรในประเทศไทย (Enhancing Gender Equity: Experiences from Thailand)

ในการนี้องค์กรที่ร่วมจัดได้ประกาศ “ความร่วมมือเป็นเครือข่ายในการส่งเสริมความเสมอภาค” ร่วมกัน ณ ห้องภูวนาถประชาธิปก สถาบันพระปกเกล้า และนำเสนอผ่านระบบออนไลน์ Zoom Meeting และ Facebook Live
