Due to the upcoming Christmas and New Year Celebrations, Ms. Chavali Osathanugrah, President of PPSEAWA Thailand, Ms. Patchanee Tientawach, Chairperson of Women Development Committee, along with the Thai Catholic Women Association led by President Ms. Yupadee Siriratchakul hosted an entertaining event for 410 female inmates at the Samut Sakorn Provincial Central Prison.
The event started with a talk for the inmates to have an understanding of the meaning of Christmas by Father Alessandro Brai, Khlong Toey Community Development Project Manager. This was followed by a Mini Concert by the Capella Band, led my Janie The Star and Guy KPN.
We also gave out presents to the inmates , which included 420 small towels and 200 sets of everyday essential items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo etc. Ice-cream were given as treats to celebrate Christmas and the new year as well.

เนื่องในโอกาสเทศกาลวันคริสต์มาสและวันขึ้นปีใหม่ นางชวาลี โอสถานุเคราะห์ นายก สปอท. นางพัชนี เธียรธวัช ประธานฝ่ายพัฒนาสตรี ร่วมกับสมาคมสตรีไทยคาทอลิก จัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างความบรรเทิงให้กับผู้ต้องขังหญิงเรือนจำจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา จำนวน 410 คน ณ เรือนจำจังหวัดสมุทรสาคร กิจกรรมประกอบไปด้วย บาทหลวง อเล็กซ์ซานโดร ไบร์ ผู้จัดการโครงการพัฒนาชุมชนคลองเตยและโครงการเยี่ยมผู้ต้องขังบรรยายให้ความรู้เรื่องวันคริสต์มาส และการแสดง Mini Concert โดย วง Capella ร้องนำโดย เจนนี่เดอะสตาร์และกาย KPN นอกจากนี้เราได้นำของจขวัญปีใหม่เป็นผ้าเช็ดตัวผืนเล็กมามอบให้กับทุกคน จำนวน 420 ผืน และมอบของใช้ที่จำเป็นได้แก่ ยาสีฟัน แปรงสีฟัน แชมพู สบู่ และแป้ง เพื่อมอบเป็นส่วนกลางให้กับน้องๆ จำนวน 200 ชุด และได้นำไอสกรีมมาแจกให้ทุกคนได้รับประทานเพื่อร่วมฉลองในโอกาสเทศกาลคริสต์มาสและวันขึ้นปีใหม่
